Royce Scarber Obituary
Royce Lynn Scarber, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 61. He was born on February 10, 1964, in Gadsden, Alabama.
A devoted Alabama fan, Royce wore his Crimson Tide pride with heart and humor throughout his life. One of his greatest recent joys was meeting his new granddaughter, Reign. He was filled with love, excitement, and anticipation at the opportunity to get to know her. Royce was loved by his family and friends, who will miss his kind heart and spirited personality.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Coleman E. Walker.
Royce is survived by his wife Christy Scarber; sons, Zacary Scarber (Lissette) and Shawn Romano; two grandchildren; his mother, Faye Walker; siblings Linda Waters (John),Terry Scarber(Karen), Houston Cobb, Sandy Hilton( Kyle),and Christy Brown(Brandon); his stepbrother, Michael Walker(Ludina); and stepsister, Mickie Walker. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who were all touched by his presence.
A memorial service will be held on June 21, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Heritage Baptist Church, 1843 Peeksville Road, Locust Grove, GA 30248
