ROYDRICK SMITH Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wesley A. Boyd Funeral Home (a.k.a Boyd Funeral Directors of Texas) on Jul. 30, 2025.
Roydrick O'Keith Smith, affectionately known as "Tank," passed away surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Born on October 27,1970, to Diana Woodfork and the late Henry Woodfork, Tank was a man whose presence left an indelible mark on every life he touched. A proud graduate of Klein Forest High School, Roydrick dedicated over 31 years of service to Allied Aviation, where he rose to the role of Operations Manager. His leadership, work ethic, and loyalty earned him the deep respect of colleagues and peers. ln 2004, Roydrick married the love of his life, Tamettica Smith, and together they built a home rooted in love, unity, and unwavering support. From their union came two beloved sons, Jordan White(Alexandria), Rodney Smith, Cadance Glaster, and, and he was a devoted grandfather to Jasiah, Jeremiah, and Juel, who brought immense joy and pride to his life. Tank was preceded in death by his Father, Henry Woodfork, Grandmother Bernice Smith-Rose, and Aunt Shirley Allen. He leaves behind his loving wife, Tamettica Smith, mother, Diana Woodfork (Cornelius), Sons, Jordan White (Alexandria) and Rodney Smith, grandchildren Jasiah, Jeremiah, and Juel, Brothers Anthony Woodfork(Cassandra), Darrell Woodfork, Mother in law Shirley Doyle (Eric), Father in law Lawrence White (Lisa), Sister in law Rachelle McClenton(Daryl), Brother in law Lawrence White Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; all of whom were touched by his love, guidance, and generosity. Tank was more than a husband, father, and grandfather - he was a mentor, a protector, a friend, and a pillar of strength to those around him. His laughter filled rooms, his wisdom gave comfort, and his heart was always open to those in need. Though this physical presence has left us, the legacy of his character, love, and the lessons he taught will live on in the lives of all who knew him. His spirit remains forever etched in our hearts.
