In Loving Memory of Marcus Wade Gandy

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marcus Wade Gandy, who bravely fought his battle with cancer until June 29, 2025. Throughout his illness, Marcus inspired everyone around him with his remarkable strength, courage, and unwavering positivity.

Marcus was born July 14, 1977 and raised in Houston, Texas, he graduated from Klein Forest High School and then went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Houston where he was a member of the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi there he made lifelong friendships. On November 13, 2010, Marcus married the love of his life, Geneva, and together they created a family and planted their roots in Spring, TX.

Marcus worked at FIS as a Senior Trust Account Manager for the past 10 years. In that time he mentored junior associates and created a tight knit group of not only coworkers but friends. Marcus spent all his extra time sharing his love of music with Brooks and watching his band preform, watching Bennett play basketball and keeping score at his games and cheering on Blaire from the sidelines as she played soccer. He was a devoted family man.

Marcus was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie D. Gandy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Geneva; their children, Brooks, Bennett, and Blaire; and his devoted mother, Donna Gandy. They, along with his extended family and numerous friends, will forever cherish the warmth, laughter, and joy he brought into their lives.

A memorial service to celebrate Marcus's extraordinary life will be held at 11:00 am July 12th at Northside Christian Church, 20250 Kuykendahl Road, Spring, Texas 77379. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, share memories, and support each other through this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Marcus's memory to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, a cause close to his heart.

Though Marcus is no longer physically with us, his enduring spirit, boundless love, and inspiring strength will forever remain in our hearts.
