Four Oaks, NC: Ms. Ruby McLamb Allen, age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM-Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Stones Creek Advent Christian Church in Benson. Pastors Scott Johnson and Doug Abel will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Allen born on September 9, 1931 to the late Herbert McLamb and Lillie McLamb. She was also preceded in death by her husband, DeLeon Allen; brothers, Charlie Ray McLamb and Hubert Owen McLamb; sister, Louise Baker. Ms. Allen loved her church, church groups, she loved to cook as well as making quilts. Her greatest love was for her family.
Survivors include her sons, Danny G. Allen of Four Oaks and Gary M. Allen and wife, Janet of Dyer, IN; daughter, Catherine Allen-Formosa and husband, Gary of Highland, IN.; grandchildren, Jeremy Allen and wife, Aubrey, Alicia Villarreal, Sonia Kuzmar and husband, David, Ryan Formosa; great grandchildren, Jacob Allen, Levi Allen, Alex Villarreal and Lindsay Villarreal.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM-Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
Flowers are welcome but memorials may be made to Stones Creek Advent Christian Church Building Fund in honor of Ms. Allen.
