Ruby Cain Obituary
Ms. Ruby Janice (Bullard) Cain, 93 passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025 at The Gardens of Roseboro.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Stedman Baptist Church, officiating will be Rev. James Atkinson. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
Ruby was born in Cumberland County to the late Badger Bullard and Mamie Florence Smith Bullard. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Lendon Cain, Sr.; daughter Theresa Dresco; sister, Barbara Bullard; and half-sister, Elizabeth Lockamy.
Ruby was a longtime member of Stedman Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, James Michael Cain (Linda) of Fayetteville and Harvey Lendon Cain, Jr. (Anna) of Stedman; grandchildren, Jonathan Michael Cain (Sherrie), Joshua Neil Cain (Eryn), David Ashley, Jessica Grant, and Jennifer Lockamy; and many great grandchildren.
