Ruby V. Creswick

Ruby V. (Hicks) Creswick, 96, of Warwick, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Bernard C. Creswick, Sr. Born in Dighton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Beaman and Bessie M. (Ehrhardt) Hicks.
Ruby grew up in Taunton, Massachusetts and graduated from Taunton High School. She went on to work as a Telephone Operator in Providence and on November 22, 1947, she married her late husband, Bernard C. Creswick, Sr.
Ruby was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who gave of her time and talents to provide a loving home for her family. She was a member of Warwick Central Baptist Church since 1953 and joined the Hannah Women's Circle and the Moose Club Auxiliary. Ruby also enjoyed square dancing with her husband.
She is survived by her beloved children, Linda M. Knutton-Jenison (Thomas) of North Kingstown, Brenda E. Ferriter (Peter) of Warwick, Wanda M. Kennedy of Coventry, and Bernard C. Creswick, Jr. (Cynthia) of Raynham, MA, her grandchildren, Matthew W. Knutton, Paul T. Knutton, Andrew C. Knutton (Brandi), Timothy Gregson (Stephanie), Kimberly Palmisano (Michael), Joshua Kennedy (Christine), late Philip Kennedy (Heather), Nathaniel Kennedy (Jessica), and Jenna Creswick, and her great-grandchildren, Timothy Gregson, Jr., Madalyn Knutton, Samantha Gregson, Samuel Knutton, Spencer Knutton, Emily Palmisano, Emma Kennedy, Kelsey Knutton, Lucas Kennedy, Piper Kennedy, William Kennedy, Benjamin Kennedy, and Harrison Kennedy.
She was the sister of the late Carman Hicks and Gerald Hicks.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 6:30PM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4:00PM-6:30PM. Interment will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 10:00AM at Mayflower Cemetery in Taunton, MA.
