Ruby F. Dill a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025, at the age of 77. She was a retired hairstylist and an active member of Unity Baptist Church. A woman of unwavering strength and kindness, she always put the needs of her family first.
She is survived by her husband, James Dill; children, Rhonda Barnes (Todd) of Williamston, John Greene (Linda) of Fountain Inn; grandchildren, Jamie Dill (Shasta) of Waterloo, Mary Dill (Matthew) of Marietta, Wesley Barnes (Brittany) of Pelzer, Chris Tatum (Melissa) of Greenville, Jake Barnes (Camille) of Ludowici, GA, Jordan Parrott (Dwight) of Anderson, and Brandon Greene of Piedmont. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and her siblings, Bobbie Eubanks of Greenville, Lee Jones of Greenville, Carolyn Perry (Bob) of Mauldin, and Pat Paquin of Piedmont.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Ella Mae Funk; son, James Dill II; and three siblings, Charles Funk of Greenville, James Funk of Anderson, and Freddie Jenkins of Greenville.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. A Celebration of Life service to honor Ruby's life will follow in the Southeast Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Cannon Memorial Park in Fountain Inn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church, 1000 Fairview Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
