She attended King and Astor elementary then into Portsmouth Middle School. Ruby graduated from Youth Authority of Portland; all located in Portland.
In 2009, Ruby brought a beautiful daughter named Jada Rose Hollinquest into this world. Jada was truly her pride and joy. Ruby enjoyed movies, cooking and spending time with family. She was a very shy and soft-spoken young lady with a heart of gold.
She was preceded in death by her maternal Grandmother, Shirley Ann Lacey: Paternal Grandparents: Ruby and James Hollinquest; Great Aunt: Artie Lacey; Cousins: Johnathan Hollinquest and Anthony Barber and Uncle, Joe Nathan Hollinquest
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Jada Rose Hollinquest; Mother, Sherri Patterson; Father, Carl Hollinquest; Brothers: Demarkus Patterson, Carl Hollinquest, Jr, Quan 'Trelle Patterson; Aunt, Leslie Hollinquest; Uncles, James Hollinquest and Delaine Jones and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Ruby's presence in this world will be greatly missed. Rest now, 'Little Mama' in the arms of our heavenly father there is no more pain.
