Ruby Hubbard

Ruby Sue Hubbard, affectionately known as Ruby, was a radiant presence in this world, born on December 10, 1943, in Greenville, SC. She left us on the 12th of October, 2023, having filled the world with her strength, compassion, and boundless love. A beloved wife, cherished friend, and respected colleague, Ruby was a force of nature who touched countless lives in her journey.
Ruby's life was a testament to her courage and determination. Her resilience was evident in her career at USAA. Despite any challenges that came her way, Ruby always managed to rise above, inspiring those around her. As Maya Angelou once said, "You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated." Ruby lived by this mantra, always embracing life with courage and grace. In her retirement, she made her home in Cumming, Georgia, a sanctuary filled with love, laughter, and endless memories.
Surviving Ruby is her devoted husband, Ronnie Hubbard, who lovingly stood by her side, sharing in her joys and triumphs. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Raymond and Hurene Westmoreland. The love and bond that Ruby shared with her family were evident to all. Their legacy of love lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved Ruby. A memorial service celebrating Ruby's life will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 1:00 pm EDT, at McDonald & Son Funeral Home, located at 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, Georgia, 30040.
