Ruby Dianne Jordan, 57, of Haines City, FL, peacefully departed in her sleep for her eternal heavenly home on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026. She leaves behind a loving husband of over 38 years, Steve Jordan, of Haines City, FL, and a daughter Brandi Jordan and her fiancé, Harrison Futch, of Davenport, FL; a brother, Bill Thompson and wife Donna Thompson of Austin, AR; a sister, Kerri Neff and husband David Neff of Wyoming, Michigan; a sister Terri Thompson; a mother-in-law Joyce Jordan of Sherwood, AR; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kelly and Mark Clark of Denison, TX; many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Dianna Thompson, father Lee Thompson, and sister Cynthia Thompson.

Ruby was a loving wife for over 38 years, she adored her husband Steve, from his silly jokes, loving smile, kind personality, patriotism, love for football, and the adventures they embarked on throughout their marriage. Early in their marriage they lived in Mississippi, Rhode Island, Florida, Alabama, and Virginia as Steve was in the Navy. Once they decided they wanted to have children they moved back to their hometown of Sherwood, AR and settled down. Over the years she worked for the State of Arkansas, Alltel, Sylvan Hills Middle School, Michele Phillips and Company Realtors, Beach Abstract and Title, and finally for the Walt Disney Company as a Bus Driver, a job she loved, always saying that she had a corner office with an everchanging view. She enjoyed getting to make Magic for her riders any way she could, and she had numerous friends among the other drivers that she loved working with, always telling her family about them.

Her best friend was her husband Steve, they were inseparable and always enjoyed doing everything together. Her pride and joy was her daughter Brandi, who she loved and adored, and for thirty years she got to love, raise, teach, and share life with her. She was always proud of her and everything that she did. She also loved with a passion her Ohana Boys, her dogs Mauii and Kona. She also had three special friends, the Peeps, Janet McGhee, Bridget Riedie, and Peggy Holladay, whom she stayed close to even after moving to Florida.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home in Kissimmee, FL on Friday, January 23rd from 3:00PM to 5:00PM pm for her Disney Family; and then again on February 22nd, from 1:30PM to 4:30PM, at Woody's Sherwood Forest in Sherwood, AR for her family and friends from back home.
