Ruby Ledford Obituary

Ruby was born in Clay County to the late Vierce and Dollie Gibson Rowland. She enjoyed watching Lifetime movies, cooking shows and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Ruby also enjoyed reading books, especially her bible daily. She was of the Church of God faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Steve Rowland; and her sisters, Freddie Cothern and Ethel Mull.
She is survived by her son, Michael Ledford (Shonda); her daughter, Melissa Sparks (Daniel); her sisters, Christine Fisher and Mildred Rogers; her grandchildren, Erik, Haley, Jordan, Emily and Lindsey; and her great grandchildren, Spencer, Emma, Sawyer and Amari; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Hayesville with Rev. Bill Dyer officiating. Music will be provided by Steven and Mary Newton. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery in Hayesville. Pallbearers will be Erik Burnett, Jordan Burnett, Daniel Sparks, Justin Shook, Josh Shook, Mikey Rogers, Nathan Mull and Corbin Nelson.
The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Hayesville prior to the funeral service.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
