Ruby Moore

Ruby Merle Moore, age 90, died May 2, 2025. She was born on April 23, 1935, to the late Albert Franklin Goodson and Mary Frances Robinson Goodson. She graduated from Pisgah High School.
Ruby was married for 56 years to the love of her life, Vonnie Moore, who died in 2012.
She worked in the revolving credit loan operations at Deposit Guaranty National Bank. Ruby enjoyed singing gospel music in the church choir, playing the piano, and working in her flowers. She attended Crossgates Baptist Church.
Ruby is predeceased by her parents and 10 siblings Leslie Bernard Goodson, John Thomas Goodson, Leverne Goodson, Lucille McPherson, Geneva Martin, Charlie E. Goodson, Odis Franklin Goodson, Marshall Alsbon Goodson, Zelma Marie Sharp, and Helen Delores Vardaman.
Ruby is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Gail Husseini and Cynthia Ann Moore. Also surviving is one grandchild, Yousef Husseini, and one great grandchild, Jasmine Husseini.
Services will be held at Sebrell Funeral Home, Wednesday May 7th with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm with the funeral service beginning at 1:00pm followed by a graveside service at Puckett Cemetery.
