Ruby Morgan Sheridan

Ruby was born on January 5, 1919 and passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017. Ruby was a resident of North Carolina at the time of passing. She received her B.S. Degree from Woman's College (UNC-G) and graduate degree from UNC-G. During WWII she worked as a civilian employee for the Army Special Services, serving as Manager and Recreation Director for several Army service clubs in North Carolina and Alabama. She worked as Food Service Manager for 25 years at Charlotte Country Club, Duke University, UNC-G, Wake Forest College, and the Sears Roebuck Mail Order Plant in Greensboro. A private burial service will be held at Reidlawn Cemetery in Reidsville, NC. A memorial service will be conducted at Knollwood Baptist Church at 2:00pm on Friday, August 4, 2017 followed by a brief time of fellowship in the narthex.
