Rudolf Fisher Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Memorial Park Funeral Home South, Flowery Branch on Dec. 30, 2025.
Rudolf "Rudi" F. Fisher, born 9/22/1938 age 87 of Hoschton , GA passed away on Sunday 12/28/25.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Maria Fisher, son Richard Fisher and his wife Beate Fisher, daughter in law Mary Fisher, grandsons Alexander and Dylan Fisher, granddaughters Kaitlin and Lauren Fisher.

He is preceded in death by sons Ron L. and Ralph L. Fisher.

Rudi proudly served in the U.S. Airforce.

He made his career in the culinary arts and in management of private city and country/golf clubs in the south and north of the U.S.

As an immigrant from Germany, he was a self made man who studied extensively and followed his passions. His love for helping people, his family, cooking, history, golf, sailing and travel made for a fulfilling life.

He was an avid collector of "to scale" historical model sail boats. He also had a radio cooking show "Rudy Kazuty the Cooker Man" in Indianaplis, IN, a TV cooking show in Bloomington, IN, where he own a Continental European style restaurant called the "Public House", and taught culinary classes at Universities in Indiana. In 2007 he retired from the Canoe Brook Country Club in 2007 in New Jersey and moved to Hoschton, GA with his wife to be near his son Richard and family.

Sadly, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and was cared for lovingly by his wife until it became necessary to provide specialized care for him in a memory care home where he spend the final 4 1/2 years of his life.

Services will not be held at this time.

Memorial Park South Funeral Home, 4121 Falcon Pkwy Flowery Branch, GA 30542 is in charge of arrangements. Send online condolences to www.memorialparkfuneralhomes.com.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry;

I am not there. I did not die.
