Rumaldo Saenz, Jr., age 73, passed from this life to rest with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and best friends. Jr was born on January 26, 1952, in Galveston, Texas, to Rumaldo Saenz, Sr., and Rosa Cuello Saenz.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rumaldo Saenz, Sr.; his brother, Ruben Saenz; his sister, Susan Hughes; and his daughter, Gabrielle Serene Saenz.
He leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories to his beloved wife, Pamala and his children: Julianna, Henley, Channing, and Allana, all of Aledo, Texas, Rumaldo III of Dickinson, Roberto of Pasadena, and Angela and husband, Sid of LaPorte, Texas; and his father-in-law, John of Aledo, Texas.
Rumaldo Saenz, Jr. was a proud member of the Anahuac Masonic Lodge, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, and a proud member of the Eastern Star with his wife and father-in-law. He loved his Masonic and Eastern Star work with his father-in-law John, wife Pamala, and many friends.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Alyssa, Halen, Alex, and Aurora; a great-granddaughter, Olivia; and his pawed grandchildren: Roscoe, Beaner, and Brisket.
In addition, Jr is survived by his mother, Rosa; his siblings: Frances, Pete, Stella and husband, Harry, and Luis and wife, Louise; many nephews and nieces; many friends and his loyal fishing buddies, who will miss him dearly.
A Joy-filled Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, 4941 I-20 Frontage Road, Willow Park, Texas 76087. Visitation will follow at 2:00 p.m. The family kindly requests that guests wear cheerful colors reminiscent of Spring and Summer, in celebration of Jr’s life.
