Russell Boyd Belles 85 of West Monroe, Louisiana passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Belles was born in Wilkes Barre, PA. on August 30, 1939, to Russell A. and Beatrice Belles.
Mr. Belles is survived by his wife of 64 years Pearl Belles and their children Penny Holland {Jeff} of Rutledge, TN. and Greg Belles {Michelle} of West Monroe LA. and his grandchildren Ashley Riner {Dennis} of Rutledge TN. Bryan Belles of West Monroe, LA. Joel Lyons {Abby} Mooresburg, TN. Victoria Belles of West Monroe, LA. and Boyd Belles {Jelina} of Dundalk, Ireland along with seven great grandchildren and his beloved cat Stormy.
Mr. Belles served 20 years in the United States Airforce and was employed by Carolina Power and Light for nineteen years. Mr. Belles was an avid animal lover, enjoyed spending time in nature, and playing and umpiring baseball.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to your favorite charity in his name.
A family gathering to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday April 12, 2025, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Griffins Funeral Home located at 911 Warren Drive West Monroe Louisiana.
A family doesn't need to be perfect it just needs to be united.
