Russell M. Kubycheck, M.D., 79, of Elmhurst, Beloved husband of Lynn, nee Vogt; devoted father of Russell J. (Christina), Christopher (Stacie), Jon (Elizabeth), Ellyn (Marc) Jacobs, Lisa (Victor) Neisser and Laura (Mitchell) Smith; proud Grandfather of Andrew, Kyle, Nick, Kory, Megan, Conner, Lucas, Keegan, Jake, Oliver, Victor, Liam, Henry, Micah, Avery, Anna, Colin, Raleigh and the late Raymond Martin; dear Brother of Sue Nowiszewski, Guy Vitello, Esq., Blase Vitello, M.D. and the late Chad Vitello; devoted son of the late Jean, nee Russell and the late Howard Kubycheck;

Russell graduated from North Park College. He went on to study at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, School of Medicine and did his residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center, with a specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Russell dedicated the next 35 years to his second home, Hinsdale Hospital. Throughout his career, he was known for his unwavering dedication to the well-being of his patients. He was a tireless advocate for women's health, always going above and beyond to ensure that his patients received the best possible care. His expertise and compassion made him a trusted and respected figure among his colleagues.

Russell was a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished grandfather. He was a pillar of strength and kindness; imparting the lessons and values that have guided his children throughout their lives. His exceptional kindness and patience was extended to all, and for that we know he left the world a better place. No Ka 'Oi.
