Russell Dale Nalin, 67, passed away at his Washington residence on September 2, 2025. He was born in Washington on January 16, 1958, the son of Frank and Dorothea "Dottie" (Russell) Nalin.
After high school, Russell earned an Associate's Degree in welding at Oakland City University. He recently retired from the AES Power Plant in Petersburg where he was a control room operator. He was also a member of IBEW #1395.
Russell had a love of vintage cars, especially Corvettes. He enjoyed collecting cars and going to car shows with his friends. But, most of all, he enjoyed being "Grumps" to Lexi and Maddie.
Those who now mourn Russell's passing include his three children: Jessica (Wes) Walton of Loogootee, Leann Nalin of Washington, and Eric Nalin of Sydney, Australia. Russell was blessed with three grandchildren: Madalyn Walton, Lexi Nalin, and Annistyn Walton.
During his lifetime, Russell grieved the loss of his parents, Frank and Dorothea "Dottie" Nalin.
Visitation for Russell Dale Nalin will be 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.
Funeral services for Russell Dale Nalin will immediately follow the visitation on Saturday, September 6, 2025, and begin at 1:00 pm, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary. Pastor Jim Lilly will officiate.
Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
