Russell (Rusty) Allen Baumann passed away on July 9, 2025. Rusty was born on September 25, 1972, in San Angelo, Texas, the son of Barney and Cynthia Baumann. He graduated from Central High School and was a member of the Grace Christian Church.
Rusty was devoted to his family and cherished spending time with them. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, UT Longhorns and John Deere memorabilia. Rusty also had a collection of ball caps which his dad contributed to, as well as other family members.
Rusty is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fay and AJ Burk and Herman and Roxie Baumann, and his uncle, Russell Baumann. He is survived by his parents, his uncle Allen Burk and wife, Peggy, cousins, Kristen Billingsly, Bryan Mees and Dean Baumann. Other family members are Arlene Payne, Kim and husband, Alan Adcock, Gary Donaldson and wife, Angela and Colby Donaldson and Reid Donaldson.
Rusty was known for his sense of humor, genuine kindness and his love for those around him. He will be greatly missed but will be remembered by all the lives he touched.
A private family Celebration of Life will be announced later.
