Thank you, Uncle Russ, for being who you were – a very cool guy who wasn't afraid to offer an opinion if you thought it would help, and a person who also told me to exceed my own standards of excellence. Whether you knew it or not, you made a significant impact in my life. I love you.

Another year, and still remember the great conversations I had with Mr. S. A great man that's remembered long after his passing.

Russ continues to leave his legacy on the World - even after 3 years. Seems like it was yesterday - a great man indeed.

Sorry to hear about Russ' death. In the 1930's as a five year old I lived just south of Russ' folk's farm. His sister Evelyn was a very important fifth grade teacher in my life. I have recognized her in a high school scholarship we have set up in Ashton, Illinois.

Mr. Semmler was a great man. He was a client for many many years, but during that time he became a great friend. Our visits consisted of 5% business and 95% reflection on life and personal issues. He helped me many times with situations in my life, and made a huge difference. I'm going to miss those visits so much. May God be with all the family and friends dealing with this great loss, but what a great man and a great legacy. Someone once said; We should all be ashamed to die unless we have made a significant contribution in life. Mr. S made that contribution.....
