Ruth I. Bisbee

RUTH I. BISBEE (nee Mackenzie), age 90, of Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Beloved wife of the late Robert G. Bisbee; dearest mother of Robert D. Bisbee (wife Lisa), Bonnie Bisbee, Nancy Watt (Mark, deceased), Michelle Bisbee (Ryan DiFranco), and the late Barbara; loving grandmother of Benjamin, Elizabeth, Clay, Elle and Robin; cherished great-grandmother of Mackenzie, Adeline, Lydia, Evie, Lilly and Bubba; dear sister of Joyce Grieb (Bob) and the late Bobby Mackenzie.
Ruth lived in Mayfield Heights her whole life. She was a loving and caring woman who welcomed everyone into her home. She was famous for saying "If you went home hungry it was your own fault." She ran a successful seamstress business from her home welcoming in the police and fire departments. Her home was always filled with clients, friends and family. She also worked for a local dance studio where she altered all the dancers' costumes.
Ruth's family will hold a celebration of life at her home welcoming in all of her clients, friends and family one last time on Sunday, November 24, 2024 between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Interment private, Knollwood Cemetery.
