Ruth Ann Cantwell

Ruth Ann Cantwell (nee Lamb), 82 of Woodbine, MD passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. She was born June 27, 1940, in Carroll County, MD the daughter of the late William Romaine Lamb & the late Daisy Ruth Lamb (nee Hatfield). Ruth worked as a secretary for Social Security Administration for 29 years. She was an animal lover, especially her cats; and enjoyed going to strawberry festivals and photography. She was the loving mother of Chris Cantwell & wife Tammy, Steve Cantwell, Sr., and Paul Cantwell. Devoted grandmother of Jeff Cantwell & wife Kristen, Steven Cantwell, Jr., Connor Cantwell, Cash Cantwell, Reghan Cantwell, and Trent Cantwell; great grandmother of Raylan Cantwell. Loving sister of Betty Davis. Ruth was preceded in death by her granddaughter Lexi Cantwell. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School).
