Ruth Cossey Obituary
Ruth Inez (Hampton) Cossey Age 96 of Hillsboro, Mo left this life to receive her heavenly reward on September 8, 2024. She was an avid gardener and loved making jellies for her family. She loved her family deeply. She attended Peace Tabernacle since 1980 and loved her church family. She was preceded in death by her husband Osvel Lloyd Cossey, two children, Osvel Lloyd Cossey, Jr. and Janet Ruth Cossey, her mother, Esther Hampton, her father George Hampton and many sisters and brothers.
She is survived by one brother, James Donald Hampton, by her three children, Sarah Long (Cossey) (Rev. Huey Long) Charlotte Ray (Cossey) (Rev. Calvin Ray) Lloyd Allen Cossey (Dorothy Cossey)
Eight grandchildren:
• Greg Long (Tammy)
• Marty Long (Michelle)
• Jeff Ray (Sara)
• Jeremy Ray (Stephanie)
• Candace Rushing (Ray) (Jason)
• Matt Cossey
• Tim Cossey (Angela)
