Mrs. Ruth Lee Cox was born on June 21, 1940 to Lilly Dorsey; and her husband in Rayville, Louisiana. Mrs. Ruth Cox worked for St Lukes hospital for 37 years in environmental services. She attended Rock of Ages Church in the early eighties and nineties, as a member of 39th and Prospect under the leadership of Reverend White. She was preceded in death by her son, L.C. Davidson; and daughter, Liza M Cox. The book of Life will close for Mrs. Ruth Lee Cox on Thursday ,July 31, 2025 at Research Medical Center. She leaves fond memories of her life to her daughters; Barbara D Cox of Kansas City, Missouri; Cassandra K. Davidson of California; Pamela L Cox of Kansas City ,Missouri; her sons, Dub Davidson of Marysville, Washington; Roy Ler Davidson of Fort Worth, Texas; Richard E Davidson of Kansas City, Missouri; Robert Lee Davidson of Everett, Washington; she also leaves to cherish her memories a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday August 13, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins Heritage Chapel 4000 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd. KCMO 64130 . Visitation: 12 - 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Interment: Brooking Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapels.
