COX, EDYTH E. (n e Clarke) of Grand Blanc, formerly of Waterford, went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2025025 at 83 years of age. Loving wife of the late Samuel Cox for 23 years; cherished mother of Kevin (Cindy) Cox, Sandra Henderson, Elizabeth Pulvirenti, and the late James Cox; grandmother of Samuel, April (Rem), Alyssa, Samantha (Mark), James (Michele), Nathan, and Joseph; great grandmother of Kieran, Kassidy, Willow, Ethan, and Owen; sister of Alvin (Margie) Clarke, Kathleen (the late David) Klaty, Harvey (Mary) Clarke, and the late Robert Clarke. Edyth was a certified nurse and worked over 20 years for Oakland County Medical Facility. But her true passion in life was her family. Her faith and trust in God and family was her number one priority, they meant everything to her. Second to her faith and family was her following the Tigers, the Lions, and reading. She will be truly missed for the wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and the endless love she showered on her family. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 1PM at Grace Chapel, 2515 Williams Lake Rd, Waterford. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until time of service. A potluck luncheon will follow service. To post a tribute, visit www.CoatsFuneralHome.com.
