Ruth was born on May 22, 1953 in Escanaba, the daughter of Rudolph and Norma (Williamson) Valencic. Ruth was very talented at crocheting and enjoyed canning.
Ruth is survived by her husband Andrew Forshey Jr.; son Daymond (April) Williams; step-children Jerry Forshey and Tammy Forshey; brothers Jim (Connie) Valencic and Mike (Coleen) Valencic; sisters Tina (Jim) Jensen and Pam (Ken) Fleury; grandchildren Grace and Daymond Jr.; step-grandchildren Christopher Kimpel, Zachary Lajoie, Kylee (Jax) Forshey, and Jonathan (Chelsea) Forshey; step-great grandchildren Graycie Forshey, Atticus Forshey and JJ Forshey; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Norma Valencic, as well as her step-daughter Laurie Forshey.
