In loving memory of Ruth Ann Garrett, a cherished resident of Crowley and Burleson, who peacefully passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 68 years. Ruthie, whose vibrant spirit and creativity endeared her to all, will forever hold a special place in the hearts of family and friends.

Born on April 5, 1956, in Cleburne, Texas, Ruthie was the youngest of five siblings and treasured by her family. Her joy for camping, hunting trips, and crafts, along with her warm personality, touched the lives of many. As a licensed hair stylist and manicurist, Ruthie's ability to connect with others was evident in every conversation.

Ruth Ann is survived by her brother Tom Green and his wife Brenda, niece Johnna and her husband Roger and their daughter Danielle Burrows, and a host of other family members and friends. She is now peacefully reunited with her parents, Janell and Ewell Green, and her sisters Mary Katherine Wilkinson, Vera Holland, and Betsy Green.

A memorial service celebrating Ruth Ann Garrett's life will be held at the Lucas Funeral Home-Chapel on July 6, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Ruthie's grace and warmth are invited to gather together to honor her remarkable life and share memories of the joy she brought to all hearts.
