George Willis King

George W. King, 88, of El Paso, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026. He was born August 11, 1937 in Swifton to the late George and Frankie Satterfield King. George spent many years of his career as a General Supervisor for Spartan Asphalt in Lansing, Michigan. He also worked with his brothers and owned/operated his own trucking company. George enjoyed old cars and drag racing with his brothers. He even restored a 1923 Ford T-Bucket. George loved spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Alene Laurner and Dona Mae Vickers; brothers, Wilburn King, Carl King and Dennis King and sons, George King, Jr., and Dennis King.

He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Carolyn King; son, Joe King (Eden) of Burleson, Texas; daughter, Linda Mitchel of Portland, Michigan; stepdaughter, Donna Whitaker (Dooley) of Ward, Arkansas; stepsons, Jim Jenkins (Crystal) of Dardanelle, Tim Jenkins (Marlo) of Nashville, Tennessee and Dale Jenkins (Kelly) of Beebe; brother, Austin King (Dot) of Couch, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2026 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with interment to follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Beebe. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
