Ruth was a faithful member of Old Union Church in
Sophia, North Carolina, and was a woman of deep and abiding faith. She loved the Lord and lived her life as a reflection of that devotion. She found great joy in tending her garden and canning vegetables, and she was well known for her love of cooking-especially her cakes, which became famous enough to earn her recognition in the Archdale Trinity News. A talented seamstress, Ruth delighted in sewing quilts and making clothes for her family, gifts that carried her love in every stitch.
Above all, Ruth loved her family deeply and treasured every moment spent with them. Her warmth, kindness, and steadfast faith will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
