Ruth Huffstutlar, 88, passed peacefully on June 2, 2024 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born January 20, 1936, to Clifton and Elizabeth Webb. She was of the Baptist faith. Ruth was a cosmetologist, and owned two dress shops, Dean’s Fashions and RH Collections.
Ruth was affectionally known as “grandmother” to her family. She is survived by her son, Steven Huffstutlar (Dyanne) of Benton, Arkansas; grandson, Eric Huffstutlar (Johnnie) of Little Rock; granddaughter, Emalee Huffstutlar of Little Rock; great- granddaughter, Addyson Huffstutlar of Little Rock; her brother, E.C. Webb of Little Rock; her sister, Juanita Rea of North Little Rock; one sister-in-law, Irene Birdsong; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Huffstutlar; her parents; and brothers, Jarrell Webb and Billie D. Webb.
Honorary pallbearers are Emalee Huffstutlar, Addyson Huffstutlar, Karrie Sharpe, Carl Cross, and Elite Hospice Care. Pallbearers will be Eric Huffstutlar, Steve Huffstutlar, Brian Moore, Kenny Reynolds, Steve Bohn, and David Ratliff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warriers Project, P.O. Box 75817, Topeka, Kansas 66675, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
Visitation will be held 10:00 am Thursday, June 6, followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.smithfamilycares.com.
