Ruth Ann Kahler, 83, of Mount Joy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. She was born on May 13, 1942, to the late Farrell and Mildred (Hunter) Cunningham. Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, John Kahler.
Ruth lived a life grounded in faith and service; she found great joy in her church community. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, and she cherished every moment spent with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Kahler and his wife Lisa, and John “Butch” Kahler and his wife Amy; her grandchildren, Corrine, Sarah, Ozzy, Audrey, and John; her great-grandchildren, Landon, Christopher, John, Hudson, and Evelyn; and her siblings, Wendy Nimick and Raymond Cunningham. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Regina.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
