Ruth Latimer

Heavenly Father has called Ruth Nellie Lund Latimer home to Heaven on Monday 10/16/23. Ruth passed peacefully and comfortable at the Abbington Manor in Lehi, Utah.
Ruth was born February 20, 1939 to James Lauritz Lund and Jennie Nellie Lund in Mt Pleasant, Utah. She married Earl LeRoy Latimer October 28, 1960. They were sealed in the Manti LDS Temple in 1962. Together they had five children; Jim(Gretchen) Latimer, Paul (Sherry) Latimer, Kent Latimer, Ed (Paula) Latimer and Sue (Bob) Adair.
Ruth loved genealogy and researching her Family History. Learning the individual stories of her ancestors made her feel like she knew them personally. Heaven will be a grand reunion for her and her ancestors. Along with genealogy, Ruth loved The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a dedicated member all her life and served faithfully in many church callings such as Primary teacher, Temple worker, Librarian, Family History worker, and her favorite calling was Visiting Teacher/ Minister. Ruth enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, and taking miscellaneous classes in any subject that she just wanted to know more about.
Ruth is survived by her five children and their spouses, fabulous grandchildren, beautiful great grandchildren, and her brother Melvin (Marilyn) Lund. Preceded in death by her Husband Earl, Sister Margie, and Parents.

Funeral services to be held Friday, 10/27/2023 @ 11:00am at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, Sandy Utah. A Visitation will be Thursday, 10/26/2023 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm also at Larkin Mortuary in Sandy. There will be a one-hour visitation before the funeral at 10:00 a.m. also.
