RUTH HOFFMAN LOWRY of Ashburn, Virginia, passed on Monday, September 29, 2025, at age 63. Born Thursday, October 26, 1961, in Tampa, Florida, Ruth was the daughter of Shirley Faye Lancaster. Her life gave her wonderful opportunities to travel and live in many places across the country. Along the way, she touched many lives. Ruth leaves many to cherish her memory, including her sons, Don (Edelyn) Frye and Chris (Mindy) Frye, and her daughter, Jaimie (Chhourm) Williams; and three grandchildren, Caleb, Eli, and Noah. Ruth loved decorating for the holidays, hosting family gatherings, and giving gifts-her Christmas celebrations were always magical. Her family will remember her fondly for her good taste in music, passion for cooking amazing meals, love for her dogs, and her warm, enduring smile. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, Virginia. A Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in memory of Ruth and her love of animals.
