Cheryl O'Neal Lowry, aged 62, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025, in Lexington, KY.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Janice Hale O'Neal, her first husband, Paul Pace, and her brothers-in-law, Bob Foley and Randy Herron. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her devoted husband, Gary Lowry, and their children, Maean Pace, Christopher (Summer) Joseph, and Joey Patrick Lowry. Her legacy continues through her sisters, Glenda Foley and Carole Herron, and her adored grandchildren, Dallas Joseph, Aydan, and Iris Lowry.
She had attended Eastern Kentucky University. Cheryl's professional life was marked by her exceptional work as a bankruptcy paralegal. Her expertise and passion for her field led her to teach seminars, sharing her knowledge and experience with many who sought her guidance.
Cheryl's personal journey of faith was highlighted by her baptism in 2014 at The Creek Church in London, an event she shared with her daughter, marking a significant and joyous milestone in their lives.
Funeral services will be 2 pm, Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea with Pastor Brent Baker officiating. Burial will follow in her family cemetery, Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Laurel County. Visitation will be from 1 pm to 2 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Christopher Joseph, Summer Joseph, Josh Angel, Joey Lowry, Amber Angel, and Stuart Noplis.
