Ruth Charlotte Lundin

Ruth C. Lundin, a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the age of 103, after a brief illness. Born in Providence in 1922, she was the beloved daughter of the late Oke and Nellie (Rosenquist) Lundin.

Ruth is survived by her loving niece and nephews, Linda Twyeffort, Richard Lundin, Oke Lundin, Bradford Lundin, Donald Lundin, William Lundin and Robert Lundin; as well as her sister-in-law, Carol Reed. She also leaves behind many loving great-nieces and nephews, as well as extended relatives and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her siblings Roland, Oke and William.

Having lived most of her life in Warwick, Ruth was deeply devoted to her family, her faith and her community. She was a communicant of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, where she was a longtime and faithful supporter of church activities. Her generosity of spirit and steadfast devotion to her congregation were hallmarks of her life.

Ruth spent many years working for Amica Insurance, where she became affectionately known as the voice of Amica while serving on the company's switchboard. Colleagues and callers alike remembered her warmth, kindness and professionalism. Ruth was a lifelong and passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox. She followed the team faithfully throughout every season.

Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am on Friday, September 12, 2025, in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am in the funeral chapel.
