Ruth Irene Marcello, age 86 of Langhorne, PA, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022 at Langhorne Gardens Nursing Home, Langhorne, PA. Born in Newark, NJ, Ruth was a lifelong Lower Bucks County Resident.
She had been employed as a bartender/waitress at the Bridge Grill and Robert Morris in Morrisville. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family, playing the slot machines at the casinos, and traveling with her longtime companion John Foster to the Catskills, Las Vegas, Delaware, Atlantic City and Florida.
Daughter of the late Aaron and Beatrice (Gignac) Baker and mother of the late Terri Dina Marcello and Angelo Marcello, she is survived by her longtime companion John E. "Humpy" Foster, a granddaughter Dina Marcello of Morrisville, three brothers and daughters-in-law Robert and Connie Baker of Hamilton, NJ, Richard and Dot Baker of Bayonne, NJ and David and Connie Starling of Trenton, NJ, two sisters Dolly Harrison of California and Sharon Shantz of Earlv, NY, two great grandchildren Marcella and Meadow Heisler, her "adopted daughter" Milli Kerner, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service at 11 AM on Monday, Feb. 14, 2022 at Morrisville Cemetery, S. Pennsylvania and Anderson Ave., Morrisville, PA.
Memorial contributions in Ruth's name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
