Ruth Olofson Meredith

Ruth Olofson Meredith age 92, of Rossville, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025.Ruth was born in Chicago, IL, on July 25, 1932, the daughter of the late Carl Olofson and Esther Pearson Olofson. She was a member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church. Ruth was a devout Christian and a prayer warrior. She was active in Womens Ministry, Sunday School, and supporting missionaries. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Meredith and her siblings, May, Martha, Carl, and Bert Olofson.Survivors include three sons, Wayne Meredith (Sylvia), Eugene Meredith (Barbara), and Dale Meredith (Josephine); two daughters, Carolyn Kemp (David) and Marilyn Kaminski (Mark); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bonnie Larkin.Graveside Services will be Monday, February 3, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. CST, Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Elmhurst, IL.In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to WDYN Radio Station at wdyn.com.
