She is survived by her daughter Holley Trollinger (Mark), eight grandchildren, Tiana, Tabatha, Mateo, Andrea, Rebecca, Rachel, Rylee and Ranae; and great grandchildren Kimberly, Daniel and David. Ruthie attended beauty school after graduating high school. She enjoyed being a beautician for many years at the Magic Mirror Beauty Salon in Downey, California.
After the birth of her daughter, Kimberly, she became a stay at home mom. Later in life, Ruth and Kenney became foster parents for the children in Salem. Foster care was close to Ruthie's heart as she was raised in foster care. Ruth was a devoted member of Salem Heights Church and an advocate for The Most Excellent Way.
Ruth will be best remembered for her generous heart, her love of all people and animals, known to many as mom and grandma, the most gentle soul and wonderful friend to so many. She loved playing cards and having dinner with friends ever Friday night, bingo at the coast, crocheting baby blankets for the little ones that came into her life, coloring and celebrating life's biggest moments with all the people she loved.
