Ruth Carol Sellers Newton, 75, of Supply, NC died Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
Born in Brunswick County, NC on December 15, 1948, a daughter of the late Hiram Thomas "Buck" Sellers and Bera Elizabeth Arnold Sellers. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Aubrey Newton.
She was a retired Registered Nurse having served at the Brunswick Community Hospital and New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Surviving are her daughter, Ashley Newton Lazzarino (Gian), Supply, NC; two sisters Marilyn Sellers (Mike), Bolivia, NC and Terry Harrison (Anthony), Supply, NC; grandchildren Aubrey, Roman and Luca.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 3:00PM in the Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel. Interment will follow in the Galloway West Cemetery located on Big Macedonia Rd NW, Supply, NC 28462..
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Casket bearers will be Adam Sellers, Michael Lynn Sellers, Kyle Sellers, Mike Sellers, Anthony Harrison and Rick Warford. Honorary casket bearers will be Allen Russ, Mike Laska, Joe Inman and Larry Andrews.
Memorials may be directed to the Baptist Children's Home of North Carolina, 204 Idol Street, Thomasville, NC 27360 or www.bchfamily.org.

I loved Carol Newton from the moment I met her, such a beautiful person. I could talk to her about anything and she made me feel special. I have many memories of her, I am happy our paths crossed in this life, I will see her again. My love and prayers for her sweet family
