Ofield Funeral HomeOn Tuesday, February 3, 2026 Ruth Ann (Nan) Schricker joined her beloved Jerry after passing peacefully with her family by her side.
Ruth Ann was born on February 22, 1948 to Benjamin and Josephine (Kelso) Selby in Allegan County, Michigan. She married Jerry Schricker on March 18, 1967. Ruth and Jerry both worked for Heinz and rode to and from work together daily for more than 30 years. She enjoyed time spent with the Hopkins FFA Alumni and time spent with children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her monthly lunches with friends from Heinz and was always up for a trip to Shipshewana. She was well known for making family meals that would feed her family and two more. Nothing made her smile bigger than her grand children and great-grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers, Raymond, Robert, Richard, Milton, Bernard, Laurence, Tom, and her sister Virginia. She is survived by her children Tammy (Ed) Schmidt and Jerry “Rob” (Sherry) Schricker, her grand children Ryan (Lindsi) Schricker, Devin (Rose) Weber, Mallory (Luke) Eldred, McKenzie (Charlie) Ade, Nolan (Jordan) Schricker, Carson (Leah Ellis) Schricker, and Baleigh (Brady Schulz) Schricker, and her great-grandchildren Nora, Gwendolyn, Ila, Vivienne, Ryker, and baby Dallas due very soon. She is also survived by her brother Lee, very special family Ann and Bob Bronkema, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cremation has taken place according to her wishes and the family welcomes you to a graveside service at Salem Township Cemetery, 4384 30th Street Dorr, MI on Saturday May 2, 2026 at 12:00pm with Pastor Craig Van Beek officiating.
