Ruth Ann Shriver of Warren passed away at Hospice House in Poland on November 11, 2024, at 4:10 p.m. She was 63 years old.
Ruth was born in Ravenna on December 19, 1960, the daughter of the late Bert and Bessie McEwen
She dedicated many years of her life to the Salvation Army which was a time that was special to her and her family and attended church through the organization.
Ruth loved the outdoors. She enjoyed sitting by the lake fishing or spending time camping. Animals were very important to her and in the past bred many Dachshunds, and Beagle Dachshunds. While she no longer has the house full of dogs, she always had a few k9 companions to play with. She also enjoyed listening to paranormal and big foot podcasts as well as watching her favorite shows like Survivor and Naked and Afraid.
She is survived by her husband, John Shriver, who she married in 2002; her children, Henry Head, Adrian (Chyrl) Nelson, Levi Shriver, and Peyton Shriver; 3 siblings, Butch McEwen, Fred McEwen, and Mary Gann; 8 grandchildren, Mercedes, Quinton, Aiden, Eli, Eian, Lorelai, Novalee, and Nolan; and 2 great grandchildren, Everly, and Ava.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her siblings, Bob, Russ, and Peggy.
