Ruth "Ruthie" Silberman, 97, July 20, 2022; beloved wife and best friend of the late Isadore "Slim" for 58 wonderful years; loving mother of Marla (Paul) Rubin and the late Betsy Silberman; cherished grandmother of Dakota "Cody" (Lucero Perez) Rubin and Tanner (Maggie) Rubin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to World Central Kitchen (www.wck.org/donate), WTTW (www.wttw.com/donate), or Hello Baby Chicago (www.hellobabychgo.org/donate) would be greatly appreciated. Ruth was a wonderful person whom we will never forget. She had the patience to bear with us while we sought and finally bought our very first home. It was a joy and an honor to know her. The live she regularly expressed for her husband, children and grandchildren as well as her zest for life was inspired and inspiring. She is missed. Warmly, Lauren and John Hines
