Funeral services celebrating the life of Ruth Elise “Lisee” Stark, 62, of Eros, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 5, 2025 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Bro. Tony Smith officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at Antioch Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Ruth Elise “Lisee” Stark, age 62, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 2, 2025, in Eros, Louisiana. Born on December 31, 1962, in Monroe, Louisiana, Elise brought warmth and joy to those around her throughout her life.
Elise graduated from the Northeast LA Cerebral Palsy School in Monroe, LA in 1984.
Elise was a member of Woodlawn Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA.
Elise was a loving woman whose heart was deeply rooted in the simple pleasures of life—music, movies, games, and the laughter of children. She found great happiness in spending time with her little great-nieces and nephews, whose visits brought light to her days. Whether she was watching her favorite television shows or sharing a song that moved her spirit, Elise’s presence was a source of comfort and delight to those who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Helen B. Stark; her siblings: Lorette Sievers (John), Eric Stark, Judy Henry (Joe), Glenda Thomas (Carl), Patricia Crutchfield (Clinton), Grace Stark, Lindsey Stark (Michelle), and Daniel Stark (Michele); sister-in-law Becky Stark; 27 nieces and nephews; and 36 great nieces and nephews. Elise’s family circle was wide and filled with love.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Dee Stark Sr., and her brother, Ronald Dee Stark Jr., whose memories remained close to her heart.
Elise’s legacy is one of kindness and joy. She touched many lives with her gentle spirit and unwavering affection for those around her. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
May the memory of Ruth Elise “Lisee” Stark bring comfort and peace to all who loved her.
