Ruth Wall, 93, of Randleman, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Hospice House of Randolph County in Asheboro, NC.
A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Ruth was born on February 3, 1931, to the late William R. Walker and the late Eula Rush. Ruth was a long-time member of Whispering Hope Baptist Church, where she used her God-given talents by playing the piano, not only for the church but for many others in the area as well. Ruth was known for her dedication to nurturing her family, her faith, and all of God's creation. It was her calling to be a homemaker, lovingly raising her children and caring for the wildlife that often sought refuge in her care. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and neighbor.
In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Raymond Wall; and her eleven brothers: Wade, Raeford, Charles, Otis, Joe, Billy, Jackie, Benson, Paul, Glen "Nip" and Dale.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Ronnie Wall (Tammy) of Mebane and Dean Wall of Sophia; five grandchildren, Jeremy Wall (Jennifer), Jason Wall (Melinda), April Ward, Keith Wall, Krista Nance (Aaron) and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in the Archdale Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service with Pastor Roger Carmichael officiating. The committal will follow the service at Randolph Memorial Park Cemetery in Asheboro, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, is honored to serve the Wall family during this time.
