Mark Christopher Watts, Sr., 54, of Sophia, NC, passed away on August 16, 2025. Born on February 21, 1971, Mark was a beloved son, father, brother, and grandfather whose presence brought joy and laughter to everyone around him.

He was preceded in passing by his father, Toney Watts. He is survived by his loving mother, Sybil Watts; his children, Mark Watts Jr. and wife Corintia, Cory Watts and wife Amanda, and Felecia Watts and her partner Shane Moore; his brothers, Steven Lee and wife Tina, and Jeff Watts; and his former spouse, Cherise Watts. Mark's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren-Eliza Watts, Toney Watts, MaKenna Moore, and Hollynd Moore-as well as several nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

Mark's family remembers him as a hard worker and a big kid at heart. With his infectious smile and magnetic personality, he was always the life of the party. He found joy in the outdoors, whether he was shooting guns, four-wheeling with friends, or simply spending time in nature. But above all, Mark's greatest passion was his children. He took pride in teaching them the values he held dear: helping others whenever possible and treating everyone with kindness.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, NC.

Mark's spirit, laughter, and unwavering love for his family will be missed deeply but remembered with warmth and gratitude by all who knew him.
