Ruth Yesko Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bruce C. Van Arsdale Funeral Home on Oct. 1, 2025.
Ruth L. Yesko, 91, passed away September 18, 2025.
Ruth was born and raised in Jersey City NJ and a 1952 graduate of Snyder High School. After marrying she settled in the Township of Union in 1962. Ruth was employed as an administrator at General Electric Medical in Whippany for over 30 years until her retirement in 1995. After her retirement, Ruth worked part time as Receptionist for the Township of Union Senior Center for 20 years. She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Irvington Elks Lodge #1245. Ruth loved to travel and cruise and visited most of Europe, the Caribbean, Hawaii and Alaska. She always loved to drive, and would just travel to see the leaves change, to see the NYC Skyline, or wherever the road took her which was sometimes to the Casino where she enjoyed playing slots. When Ruth was not traveling, she enjoyed cooking or just sitting quietly in the sun, watching or listening to the birds. She enjoyed spending holidays and special occasions with her family and extended family but what Ruth most especially loved was spending time with her grandchildren who were the joy of her life. She will be sadly missed by all.
Ruth is predeceased by her husband Peter Yesko and her brother Philip Beischer.
She is survived by her daughter Tricia Ferrara and her husband Guido and two grandchildren Nicholas and Kimberly.
Funeral mass will be 10am Saturday, September 27, 2025 at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater. Arrangements by Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, Somerville.
