Ruthie Lee "Tink" Parsons

Born on June 4, 1944 in Foley, Florida
Passed on December 29, 2025 in Palm Bay, Florida

Ruthie Lee "Tink" Parsons, 81, was born on June 4, 1944 in Foley, Florida and passed away on December 29, 2025 at her home in Palm Bay, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Wilson Lee Hallowell and Ruth Elizabeth Ross.

After attending McArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida, she and her family moved to Melbourne, where she met and married Burr, the love of her life. Burr and Tink were the 'perfect' pair, fun-loving and full of energy. All their family and friends wanted to be around them, and when they hit the dance floor everyone stopped to watch!

Tink devoted herself to loving and raising her three boys. She always wanted to share experiences with them and her grandchildren. She was all about makin' memories! She loved to travel and often went with them on vacations, especially if it involved Disney! She was also an expert shopper and loved a 'wee bit' of gambling.

Her family will miss her more than words can express, but they will always treasure the times they shared. One of her granddaughters said that she "taught me about family and generosity and how to be your own unique self without apologies." Another granddaughter shared, "She was my best friend, everything I want to be."

Tink was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Carroll "Burr" Parsons II; sister Sharon M Buss, and brother Michael W Hallowell. She will be dearly missed by her three sons: Thomas L (Shelly) Parsons, Michael K (Susan) Parsons, and Troy E Parsons.

She held a special place in the heart of each of her seven grandchildren: Jamie (Jesse) Harrison, Samantha (Josh) Baker, Corey Parsons, Justin Parsons, Hanna (Tyler) Hollinger, Felicia (Kyle) Brubaker, and Troy (Celina) Parsons; along with her three step-grandchildren: Corynne Burrows, Brianna Burrows, and Rondall (McKinzie) Burrows.

She was blessed with ten great-grandchildren, of whom she was extremely proud: Anna Harrison, Owen Harrison, Dean Baker, Jackson Baker, Nolan Baker, Sadie Parsons, Savannah Parsons, Harper Parsons, Ashton Hollinger and Wrenley Hollinger.

Services are February 6 at 12:30pm at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida, where Tink and Burr will be 'together forever'.
