Ryan Chipp Obituary
Ryan was born October 17, 1948, in San Diego, California, to Lewis Lee Chipp and Janice Christensen. He graduated from Aberdeen High School and attended Boise State University.
On March 8, 1968, he married Bette Lu Thornley in Aberdeen, Idaho. Ryan and Bette made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Ryan worked in purchasing for Corporate Express and Porter's Office Products in Rexburg, Idaho.
He enjoyed camping and was an avid golfer.
Ryan is survived by his wife, Bette Chipp of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Justin Ryan Chipp of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Cody (Vannessa) Chipp of Anchorage, AK; and 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Chipp; mother, Janice Cole; brother, Randy Chipp; sister, Rhonda Chipp; and brother, Russell Chipp.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2026, at The Brickyard Event Center, 1025 South Ammon Road, with a luncheon to follow. Inurnment will take place at 10 a.m. prior at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery, 4600 South Yellowstone Highway.
