Ryan DeLatte

Ryan DeLatte, 42, passed away on January 27, 2025, at his home. Born on June 9, 1982, in Gretna, LA, Ryan was the son of Sherita & David Miller and Leo & Shari DeLatte. Ryan was a jack of all trades, creating and managing many projects and businesses, including creating and running The Art2U Art Bus, and buying and remodeling homes. He was full of ideas and ambition, which he often easily executed. He made it impossible for anyone to keep up with what new project he was taking on next. Ryan was a devoted father to his daughters, Bella and Livi. His world revolved around their success and happiness, and his pride in them was evident in everything he did. Ryan was confident, charismatic, intelligent, funny, and so easy to love. He lived a life full of adventure and embraced every opportunity to make new memories. Ryan loved his family and friends so strongly, and he made sure each person in his life knew how important they were to him. Ryan is survived by his children, Isabella and Olivia DeLatte, and their mother, Cindi; his parents; Sherita & David Miller, and Leo & Shari DeLatte; his siblings, Sam Miller, Rachel (Alex) Innes, Lindsey (Dustin) Powers, and Leah DeLatte; his grandmother, Oleta Bohling; his nephew and godchild, Adam Innes; his aunts and uncles, Jerri-Linn (Leslie) Parker, Carl (Kristin) Bohling, and Michael DeLatte; his cousins, Emily (Johnny) and Wesley Mitchell, Brennan and Peyton Bohling, significant other, Gail Rampersad; and many, many family, friends, and loved ones. Ryan was preceded in death by his uncle, Kevin Orem, and grandparents, Jerry Bohling, Mary DeLatte & Leo DeLatte Sr.A Memorial Gathering will be held on February 8, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy.  Harvey, LA.
