Today we mourn the loss of Ryan Michael Hewitt, a longtime resident of Melbourne Florida, who died unexpectedly on 25 June 2024 at the age of 44. Ryan was born in Kalamazoo Michigan on 28 Feb 1981. (Although he claimed to be leap year, he most definitely was not.)
Ryan is survived by his Mother Pamela J. Stewart (Howard Jordan), his son Tyler R. Hewitt, his brothers Timothy L. Hewitt II (Erin Hewitt), Brandon S. Hewitt, Justin L. Hewitt (Jill Hewitt), his nieces and nephews Troy A. Hewitt, Timothy L. Hewitt III, Jacob A. Hewitt, Liam A. Hewitt, Emma R. Hewitt, Reid E. Hewitt and Jett L. Hewitt, along with 4 uncles and 1 aunt, and more cousins and friends than can be listed.
Ryan was a talented mechanic and loved to be near the water which led to his permanent residence in the state of Florida. Ryan loved his family and was loyal to a fault. The world is a lesser place without him, but now he resides with his father Timothy L. Hewitt in the comfort and care of his creator. Away from sickness and death, to wait for those of us left behind. Ryan was there to help us be confident when timid, to be strong when weak and to be fearless when scared. He was an inspiration, and his memory will be in our thoughts and hearts forever.
We will be united once more, to be made whole again as a family in the presence of God. We wait for the day until we all may embrace you once again.
